A George Street bar is making a Pornstar Martini that holds an entire bottle of prosecco

Edinburgh’s Slug & Lettuce, located on George Street, are launching a new ‘sharing’ version of their Pornstar Martini – one that holds an entire bottle of Prosecco.

A regular, enough-for-one-person, porn star martini is usually made up of Absolut Vanilla vodka, Passoã liqueur, caramel syrup, sugar syrup, fresh lemon juice, pineapple juice and passion fruit – and comes with a shot of prosecco on the side.

However, in a spark of ingenuity, the heroes of the world at Slug & Lettuce have decided to swap out the shot of prosecco for a whole bottle, making enough of the cocktail to serve four people (or, lets be honest, one, four times over).

Prices haven’t been confirmed yet, but estimates suggest that the drink will cost around the £30 mark. That’s only like, one week of food.

But, just before you go running off down George IV bridge – the Giant drink isn’t set to be released until May 10th, though it makes perfect timing for an end, or mid-but-fuck-it-it’s-second-year, exam celebration.
