The Coca-Cola christmas truck is visiting Leeds this week

Aron KellerFor most people living under the yoke of Western capitalism, the festive season doesn’t truly begin until the Coca-Cola Christmas Truck appears on our television screens and in our towns.
This year, the Coca-Cola Christmas Truck Tour will be returning to the UK for the sixth year in a row, and will be arriving in Leeds city centre on Friday 25th November.
“On your visit you’ll have the chance to wander through an enchanted winter wonderland, before having your photo taken with the iconic truck” according to the Coca-Cola website.
“Our team will then hand you a free, perfectly served 150ml can of Coca-Cola, Diet Coke or new and improved Coca-Cola Zero Sugar. Once the sun has set, you’ll be invited to enjoy an incredible after-dark surprise as we screen a short Christmas animation onto the truck, powered by your goodwill and festive cheer!”
Sure its super commercial but its also really classic – just like you.
The Coca-Cola Christmas Truck will also be in Victoria Gardens in Leeds from 12 midday to 8pm on Thursday 10th December 2015. It’s free and open to everyone, although there may be a queue to have your picture taken.
