UCL slips a place to number 10 in Sunday Times University Guide

We’re not being taught very well

| UPDATED

UCL has come 10th place in the Sunday Times University Guide for 2016.

The table makes for grim reading, saying quality of teaching is some of the worst nationwide.

The guide, published today, says teaching at UCL is 125th lowest in the country – below our nobody neighbours University of West London and London South Bank.

Top ten doesn’t cut it these days

Strand polytechnic – also known as King’s College London – pipped UCL to bottom spot, with teaching the worst in the U.K.

UCL are beaten to last year’s ninth place overall spot by London rivals LSE.

Typical student and lecturer

The underwhelming news come days after the release of the QS World University rankings, which placed UCL 7th worldwide. QS weighs research especially highly.

Saving grace is UCL’s student-staff ratio, which is number one nationally. Just over ten underperforming nebbish staff serve every one of the university’s 30,000 students.
