The UCL exam timetable will be released early this year

It’s expected on 28th February

UCLU announced today the exam timetable this year is expected to be released a month earlier than last year.

UCLU has been working alongside UCL to make this change and measures have been put in place to ensure there will be no delays to this date.

The issue has been raised by students for several years, but the University was yet to see a change until this year.

Wahida Samie, the Education & Campaigns Officer at UCL, who orchestrated the change, told The Tab: “I am so happy to finally deliver on one of my most important election promises.”

She added a thank you to everyone who had supported her, alongside a special thanks to  Anthony Smith, Vice-Provost of Education and Student Affairs, and Wendy Appleby, Registrar, for their involvement in the matter.

In addition to the early release of the timetables this year – which are due on February 28th – UCLU has also seen other positive changes for students which have been led by Wahida and the UCLU team.

This includes the 24/7 opening of the Main, Cruciform and Science Libraries from 24th March until 4th June. There will also be vending machines installed around campus in the upcoming weeks following complaints about the lack of food around campus.
