UCL’s best moustaches of Movember
The month’s Movember round-up is finally upon us and it’s time for shaving…
Here’s a round up of the annual effort of UCL sports teams for Movember, a charity dedicated to men’s mental health, suicide prevention, and men’s prostate and testicular cancer. This year, UCL sports clubs raised £17,661 in total.
In the spirit of competition, the top 3 UCL sports teams raising money were:
- UCL Men’s Football Club (£8082.00)
- RUMSFC (£2733.50)
- UCL Men’s Rugby (£1720.00)

This guy was last spotted on the ‘Wanted’ posters dotted around Phineas. You just know he’s stroking that moustache when saying his evil monologue…

We were too scared of this guy to put him as the winner. He’s definitely been in a couple of brawls by the look of his eye-brow slit.

That’s a wrap on Movember 2022!
President of UCLFC, Ben Ballard commented “All the Movember foundation’s causes are very important to us but mental health and suicide prevention has been the focal point for us ever since we lost our member Louis Carr to suicide in 2018.”
As fun and lighthearted this campaign is, the global crisis it tries to address shouldn’t be ignored. Around 10.8 million men globally will face life with a prostate cancer diagnosis. And one man dies by suicide every minute of the day, with males accounting for 69% of all suicides worldwide.
