Join The Tab Loughborough and make the most of your time at uni
We’re having a meeting tonight
We write original stories people care and talk about, and sometimes they’re funny too.
Truth is, everyone reads The Tab. No one is too cool for The Tab, and our site draws thousands of readers every single week – proving to be the only place for campus news. Now we’re expanding our amazing team of writers, meaning you could (and should) become our next top reporter.
The Tab can help you get work experience at national papers (and not forgetting our own office in London), direct you to the top journalism courses in the UK and show you a good time at our awesome socials.
We want fun and enthusiastic people to come join Lufbra’s team, don’t worry about having experience. Here’s what a few of our current writers have said about The Tab Loughborough:
Peter, reporter
“I’ve only been working with The Tab for about a month but it’s been really interesting so far. HQ give me great communication, helping me to get started with articles and get my ideas published quickly and easily. Two of my stories went national and got thousands of views each which was mad. Also, I can’t complain about the opportunities for work experience and the free nights out.”
Holly, reporter
“They let you write about things that no uni affiliated magazine would even consider. The immense amount of opportunities are ridiculous, and everyone at Tab HQ will help you with whatever you need”.
Franki, The Tab Loughborough Editor
“I’ve been editor for almost a year now, and I’ve learnt so much which The Tab have taught me directly. We make sure we develop a strong relationship with all writers, as well as letting them write on pretty much whatever topic they want. The whole set up is really effecient and professional, and it’s by far the best thing I’ve got involved with at uni.”
We are looking for reporters, writers, photographers and people who aren’t shy to approach people and ask them the important questions that everyone wants to know. If you fancy getting involved, drop us a message or come to our open meeting on Monday 1st February in The Griffin at 6.15pm, to see how you can be part of our ever expanding team.
