JESTERS BANS QUADVODS

Staff turning up to work at Jesters tonight have been told that they are “no longer allowed to serve four shots with mixer in a pint glass”.

Last month The Tab reported that Sobar had been ordered by the Local Council to stop selling Quadvods, the standard drink of choice in the Bevois Valley establishment.

Staff turning up to work at Jesters tonight have been told that they are “no longer allowed to serve four shots with mixer in a pint glass”.

Jesticles apparently do not fall into this category, as they do not contain 4 x 40% shots.

Having been banned from selling Quadvods, Sobar has taken to selling ‘triples’ instead, which have quickly become the new beverage of choice. It remains to be seen if Jesters will follow this route as well.

A Facebook group with over 2,000 members was set up when Quads were banned from Sobar marking what the group’s founders call “the end of an era”. A Facebook group doing the same thing for Jesters has quickly followed suit.

The Tab is yet to hear more details on the story.
