St Andrews’ greatest export (at least, after You Know Who) The Other Guys have just released a brand spanking new album full of Christmas cheer.
This is TOG’s fifth studio record, you may remember previous hits such as “Royal Romance” and “St Andrews Girls”. This record will feature an original song as well as covers of well known Christmas favourites including “Silent Night” and “It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas”.
According to the guys, this new album is a “mix of sacred and secular, classical and contemporary”, which certainly sounds like Christmas.
The Stand was fortunate enough to have an exclusive pre-release listen of the album. We can confirm, these boys are worth the hype. Their angelic tones combined with fresh a capella beats create a truly unique and majestic Christmas listening experience. They ain’t too bad on the eyes either…
We know what we’ll be asking for this holiday season. You can purchase the album right here, right now.
First year and The Other Guys fan, Teresa Barros-Bailey, said “I saw them perform at The Very Vintage Christmas fair and if that was any indication of what the album is like, I’ll definitely be buying it.”
The Stand caught up with dishy Other Guy Matthew who told us, “We’re really excited to be releasing our Christmas Record. It’s the first for The Other Guys and we think a first for any UK University a cappella group! We hope people enjoy listening to it and that they share it with friends and family.”
