We spoke to Khaya Peake, the Brighton star of ‘The Sex Factor’
She is starring in the online porn reality show
Here at The Tab we were lucky enough to speak to Khaya Peake and catch up with the Brighton star who is now living in Colorado.
She starred in the online porn reality show The Sex Factor and we wanted to see what made her tick.
Hey Khaya, thank you for answering our questions. Firstly, I wanted to ask what it was that drew you into the porn industry?
I was drawn into the porn industry because I was looking for a community of people similar to me at that time. I’ve now entered a new phase of my life where I’ve slowed down things a lot, offering me more time to reflect and understand myself more as a person.
With a rise of students resorting to sex work to pay of student debts, do you have any comments to students who may be moonlighting as cam girls, strippers, or be a part of sugar daddies?
Overall I think getting involved in sex work if you haven’t already started is a mistake. If the girls think they can do it safely, then they should enjoy the fast cash they get.
Sure, you said you entered a new phase in your life so what are you now doing? Have you taken a different path?
I landed in the USA here and now already have two psychotherapists trying to figure me out, and I am prescribed a high dosage of strong ssris. Classic. I am working on a couple things, but that’s a huge secret… Otherwise I’m constantly smoking weed and chilling. I feel as if I’m in a bit of a recharging and rewiring period of my life.
I’ll be back in Europe this year actually, might spend a day in Brighton!
It sounds like you are trying to sort things out which is great, what is it about Brighton you miss?
Long walks by the beach, used to walk everyday for couple hours.
The beach is great, apart from the seagull which I can imagine you are pretty glad to be rid of! What is the next big step for Khaya Peake? I know you are working on a couple of things but is there a goal you are wishing to achieve?
Early retirement, quite simply. And Seagulls are awesome.
Brilliant, and lastly can you give some words of encouragement for students who are currently doing exams?
There can only be so many talented dick suckers in the world, best sit that exam and hope for the best!
The Sex factor, a new reality show that has 16 contestants battle it out for ‘porn stardom’, has hit the web in full force and has attracted a huge following online.
The show, which is hosted by the biggest names in porn, has a $1 million prize up for grab and the chance to work in the porn industry. The contestants have never been filmed or starred in porn and during the show have to go through tough tasks such as faking orgasms in a room full of people, getting off with fellow contestants and being judged, and a event where the female contestants have 3 minutes to make the male contestants cum whilst giving them a blowjob.
Who said TV is dead?

The Sex Factor works part way as a hilarious observation on what weird things the porn industry has to offer up and an interesting fly on the wall documentary that keeps you glued in and curious for more.
Contestants include the likes of “The Colonel”, a 31 year old man who decided to sign up after a visit to his first ever adult convention. David Caspian who is also a contestant is rumoured to have participated in public masturbation and continually creeps out other guests.
The judges are, to some, familiar face with the likes of Asa Akira, Remy Lacroix, Kieran Lee, and others taking the spot of judge, jury, and executioner. The commentary and support these guys offer are just astounding.
I mean who can argue against Kieran Lee’s words of wisdom whilst consoling an ejected contestant? “Look at me, stop crying, man up, keep your dick hard.” This is gripping stuff and sounds extremely weird out of context.
The Sex Factor is hardly a blockbuster and the $1 million prize could’ve helped out during production which adds to the bizarre nature of this ‘revolutionary’ show that already has series 2 in the pipeline (if you’re interested you can sign up now). But the show has amassed a wide following reserved for the likes of TOWIE, Made in Chelsea, or any other reality show we hate ourselves for watching.
