Work experience takes over Southern Rail’s Twitter to give people something to smile about for once

Charlotte SpearAfter a period of delays, cancellations and complaining customers, Southern Rail’s Twitter is climbing its way back after handing the reigns over to a 15-year-old work experience student.
Customers quickly turned to praise and even a bit of friendly banter on the social media platform, as work-exp Eddie made the most of his opportunity, advising customers on everything from dinner to sloths.
Animal welfare was a big issue
Eddie’s cooking skills also came in handy
But things soon got serious
And the panic was real when Eddie was momentarily lost
Because there’s nothing else that the police should be panicking about
Whilst Eddie’s expertise on trains was rather limited
His science knowledge was on point
And overall his experience was insightful
With many happy customers as a result
Student forced to drop out after their university was unable to fund a sign language interpreter
