
It’s Go Green Week, here’s what’s happening
Get involved, it couldn’t be more ‘Sussex’
Sussex University is undoubtedly the most green uni out there, filled with vegans, weed smokers and everything in between. So it’s only natural for us to have a banging Go Green Week lined up.
Monday already saw two successful events, with a drop in yoga session as well as the ‘Families Play & Play session; a gardening session by Norwich House catered specifically for the families of Sussex.

From green cocktails to clothes swaps, get your diaries out folks because here’s everything that’s happening this week:
Ongoing all week Events
-Clothes donations in Falmer House.
– Bike Trains from The Level every morning at 8:30am.
– Bring your own mug to Union Bars for discounts.
– Veggie & Vegan specials at East Slope and Falmer Bar.
Tuesday 13
Dr Bike, Veggie Specials, Scoop and Smoothie Bike shall all be showing their faces at our beloved Tuesday market. Where? Falmer Quad. When? 11am-3pm
The Cooperative House Info Meeting is a good opportunity for those looking for green living next year and no, smoking weed is not green living. Where? Meeting Room 1. When? 5pm-6pm
Plan B: Climate Litigation, A method of Last Resort. You can now easily find out more about holding the government accountable for global choice in this Q&A/Presentation. Where? Fulton B. When? 7pm-9pm
Our beloved Skint is even getting involved by providing green cocktails, the proceeds of which go to charity. Where? East Slope Bar (duhh) When? 8pm onwards.
Wednesday 14
Get your zen head on for a blissful Mindfulness session. Where? The Meeting House. When? 9:20am and 12pm
Miss the Mindfulness session? No worries, get in the zone for a relaxed Yoga session, it’s a fabulous excuse to skive lectures. Where? Meeting Room 2. When? 1pm-2pm

Brace yourself for a carbon neutral gig, a one-off completely unplugged gig with some of the greenest acoustic artists in Brighton. Where? The Meeting House. When? 6pm-9pm
Round off your Valentine’s day at with cycle-powered karaoke session. Where? East Slope Bar. When? 8pm onwards.
Thursday 15
Get those mitts sticky at an Eco Crafternoon. Where? Room 76, Falmer House. When? 11am-3pm
‘In Our Hands: Seeding Change’ is a documentary about the farming crisis being shown specially for you lovely lot. Where? Jubilee 144. When 6pm-8pm
Our very own GeogSoc shall be hosting paperless bingo over at your favourite venue. Where? East Slope Bar. When? 8pm onwards.
Friday 16
Need a new wardrobe? Well you can today for free at the clothes swap. Where? Common Room, Falmer House. When? 11am-4pm.
The Food Waste Cafe shall be taking place and working with The Real Junk Food Project for a pay as you feel lunch. Where? Outside Bramber House. When? 12pm onwards.
Go grab some freebies and cider at the Seacider Tasting, as if you needed an excuse to drink. Where? East Slope Bar. When? 7pm onwards
Wrap up Go Green Week in style at your go-to place, celebrating how Sussex is now a Fossil Free campus. Where? East Slope Bar. When? 8pm onwards.
