Caroline Lucas is doing a local Q&A and you can go

Bae is coming

Next Friday, May 4, Caroline Lucas, co-leader of the Green Party, is coming to Brighton Uni's Moulsecoomb Campus to talk specifically to young people.

The event is being managed by the University Of Brighton Debating Society and the UoB Labour Society, but students from Sussex and the public in general are invited to come along.

Caroline aims to specifically focus on a Brexit consultation but will open up a Q&A session after her speech. The event aims to discuss any questions young people have about Brexit, especially in regard to the Green Party, and hopes to spark an intriguing and stimulating debate. All opinions and beliefs are welcome to come to the discussion and will be listened to.

The event is run by OFOC (Our Future Our Choice) and the pro-EU campaign for young people – who encourage young people to talk and take action about Brexit. Setting up a formal, safe space to talk directly to politicians aims to encourage young people to become active members in politics. Other societies also involved include our very own Sussex Greens, and you can find the event on their University of Sussex Green Party Facebook page.

The location will most likely be the Cockcroft lecture theatre (Brighton Moulsecoomb campus). And, with snacks and drink provided, do you really have an excuse to miss it?
