The Students’ Union are giving out free ice-cream tomorrow

As an incentive to vote

Free ice-creams are being given away in the Main Building car park tomorrow, as part of a scheme to encourage students to register to vote.

The delicious treats will be provided from 11am-3pm, alongside a ‘chill out zone’ where you can kick back and relax by taking a much-needed break from studies.

The description for the Facebook event, created by Cardiff University Students’ Union, reads: “Ahead of the snap general election in June, our special general election ice cream van will be in main building car park giving away free delicious ice creams on Thursday 18th May!

“We’re also hosting a chill out zone to help you relax and take a break from revision. While you’re there, why not take a few minutes to register to vote?”

Free ice-cream and an excuse to procrastinate? Winner Winner.
