Inside Out 2022: Your essential guide to the first festival of Cardiff’s summer

The sun is *finally* out in Cardiff which can only mean one thing: Summer 2022 is on its way and everyone knows summer is basically synonymous with festival season. We know that you lot are facing enough assignments, essays and exams to fill the SU with BUT we’ve got something that we know will cheer you up (and no, we aren’t talking about Varsity – which is 100 per cent not cancelled to all of you who believed the Mean Girls quote could be real).
Inside Out Festival of 2022 is fast approaching and we couldn’t be happier. The festival takes place this Sunday (May 1st) in Bute Park from 12pm-11pm. A perfect break from your assignments and revision plans, this festival is all about good vibes, good memories and having fun with your mates in the sun. What more could you ask for?
To help you out, we’ve broken down the days events and also who’s going to be gracing the students of Cardiff with their presence… (Hint: There’s some A-listers in this mix and we are in AWE)

MoveTogether has called it “the BIGGEST festival in the heart of Cardiff” and it is not one to miss.
How do I get tickets?
If you haven’t managed to get tickets before today, fear not. MoveTogether have introduced a ‘loan day’ deal, where ticket prices will stay at £50 + booking fee before rising to £57.50 + booking fee. Sounds like a steal to us. You can buy your tickets here.
What else is happening at the festival?
Apart from BANGING acts and artists, there will also be stalls and events throughout the day. So if Tion Wayne isn’t your cup of tea, then not to worry.
