All the things you can do this cuffing season that aren’t getting into a relationship
I was busy thinkin bout boys
The nights are drawing in, there's a crispness to the air, the leaves are falling from the trees and you're beginning to reach for those knitted jumpers that had been banished to the back of the wardrobe for the last five months. All the signs are pointing to one thing, both loved and hated at the same time, but unfortunately it's unavoidable. That's right, it's cuffing season.
But if you're still riding on the high of a productive, whirlwind summer and are 0 per cent ready to settle down with a human heater to keep you warm this winter, here's a little list of all the things you can do besides finding a bae this season.

Cuffing season? Sorry my diary is full, try again next year…
Treat yoself
With all this spare time you have now you're not waiting for the text that will never come, you can go out and get yourself a job and then TREAT YOSELF with all that money you have from your new hustle. Whats that I hear? New Fenty beauty being released for Christmas?? um yes.
Every time you get sad about a relationship that could have been, channel your inner goddess and think – what would Rihanna do? She would go out and hustle for her life to make sure her work life was flourishing, and then really who has time to think about boys?

When payday comes around and you start buying everything
Take a holiday
Peak season is over and in many countries its still hot hot hot enough for a quick getaway break. The heat isn't as intense anymore so it's the perfect time to jet away for a for a beach break. Or get ready for winter and head to somewhere colder to a remote cabin where you can completely chill away from the world.
Reconnect with your galdem
Party season is rolling around, and what better time to get all dressed up, and hit the town with your gal pals all looking hot af. Co-ordinate a group halloween outfit for a wild night out that results in you losing everyone you came with as you stumble around drunk looking for the other members of your dead-Spice-Girls ensemble, before reuniting for a bad rendition of Single Ladies. Alternatively, get the gang together for a night in! Grab the popcorn and the fuzzy pj's and get ready to binge all the old movie faves.

Who needs a guy to keep you warm when you have blankets
Get fit and fabulous
Instead of having cutesy late nights with your almost-bae this autumn, why not use that time to take up a gym or dance class once or twice a week. If you take your friends along you can have tonnes of fun learning how to dance a la Shakira at a salsa class, or bopping to Side to Side by Arianna Grande on the bike in the gym as you try (and fail) to recreate the music video. Although you can make it fun, you'll also start to feel healthier and happier as you start seeing results from all that exercise you're doing!
Have a movie makeover moment
I'm not talking massive Princess Diaries makeover (hey if that's gonna help you reach your full goddess potential then go for it!) but simply doing something small, like getting that piercing you've wanted for a while, or trying bangs for the first time, can give you that added level of confidence to make sure you're standing out from the crowd this cuffing season.

Become the Princess of Genovia you were born to be
Study
Oh yeah that thing we're supposed to be at uni to do… while you're in this whole "focus on you" mantra, take some time to really get into your studies, be it by doing all your readings ahead of time or planning your time more efficiently. Come exam time you'll be able to give yourself a lil pat on the back knowing you were prepared ahead of time.

*Writes title* Phew well done, hard work, time for a break
Set yourself a goal and stick to it
This can be a really fun one, and can be anything from watching all the Louis Theroux documentaries on Netflix, to visiting a new cafe every week to find out where the best brunch spot is. Challenge yourself something (achievable) where you can learn something new each week.
Cuffing season becomes less of a drag to get through the cold cold months when you have things to look forward to, and what better to look forward to than the ultimate self-care plan. The only bae you need is you.

A toast to yourself!
