A man has been stabbed to death in fight on Great Dover Street

The attack happened in broad daylight


A man was stabbed to death on Wednesday afternoon on Great Dover Street.

Shortly before 5:30 pm emergency services rushed to Great Dover Street after police had received several reports of a fight breaking out.

The victim was found with multiple stab injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Paramedics from the London Ambulance Service also attended the scene.

A Met Police spokesman has said: “Formal identification and a post-mortem examination will be arranged in due course.

“Officers are at the scene and an urgent investigation has been launched.

“Cordons are in place at several locations in the area. A Section 60 order has been authorised and police will be conducting additional parols”.
