Lancaster train station is experiencing delays and cancellations due to Storm Eunice

Lancaster train station has experienced large numbers of cancelled and delayed trains due to the adverse weather caused by Storm Eunice.

The station is experiencing affected services this evening and are expected to continue tomorrow.

Services to and from Morecambe, Preston and Glasgow Central have been particularly badly hit, with many trains cancelled this evening.

Overall, departures and arrivals from Manchester Airport, Morecambe, Preston, Glasgow Central and Leeds have experiences some cancellations, as well as some arrivals from Edinburgh and Liverpool Lime Street and some departures to Manchester Piccadilly.

Services to and from Windermere and Barrow-in-furness have experienced delays.

National Rail are warning travellers about the disruptions caused by Storm Eunice.

Their website has a pop-up warning stating “storm Eunice will affect your journey” and that “storm Eunice is severely disrupting travel today and tomorrow”.
