Uni says louder sex is better

Our scientists studied sex for a few months and reached some unsurprising conclusions.

Traditionally loud couples have punished their flatmates by keeping them awake at night. Researchers from the University of Leeds have found that this was not in vain.

In the Archives of Sexual Behaviour, the University has suggested that being noisy in the bedroom can result in better sex.

All in the name of science, researchers asked 71 women to report on any noises they made during intercourse.

They found that 92% of participants strongly felt that these sounds boosted their partner’s self-esteem.

87% stated that they were deliberately noisy for this purpose.

Almost two-thirds of women said they intentionally made more noise to help their partner finish.

The men agreed, reporting that the experience is more enjoyable if their lover is noisy.

Both genders in the study also confirmed that women are louder during sex. 94% of females admitted they make more noise, with seven out of ten men agreeing.
