Leicester Students’ Union have been forced to alter one of the headline acts for this years summer Festiball, citing record company commitments are the reason behind the change.

Fans of Labrinth will miss out on his headline performance on the Main Stage at this years Festiball. He has been replaced by Mobo and MTV Award nominated Wretch 32.

In an article published on the Leicester Union website Labrinth is quoted as saying:

It saddens me to say that due to unforeseen circumstances, I have had to cancel my scheduled appearance in Leicester on the 22nd June. I’ve got nothing but love for my fans and I’m sorry to let you down. I hope you will have me back soon so I can bring this show and MORE!

The last minute change is sure to cause a fuss amongst some of the attendees who were eagerly anticipating Labrinth’s Earthquake, instead they’ll have the sound of Wretch 32’s Traktor to listen to.

The Students’ Union have also released information about exchanging tickets for wristbands, as well as food and drink prices for the day and night events.
