NUDJs do it again: Listen to Newcastle boys’ Christmas mashup of ‘Drummer Boy’

Eats Everything has already retweeted it

First there was “Mercy Bells”, then “Walking in the Air with Elephants”, and now there’s “Drumming (Again!)”.

For the third year in a row, Newcastle grad George Mayfield and third year Eddy Brown have cooked up a Christmas banger.

They released the song last night, which is a mixture of the traditional Christmas song “Little Drummer Boy” and Eats Everything feat. Tiga vs Audion “Dancing (Again!)”, to become “Drumming (Again!)”

Within 12 hours it had already been played 300 times and retweeted by Eats Everything.

The DJ tagged George and said: “Hahaha! Quality!”

Now, they’re hoping to bag the Christmas top spot again with his merry mashup.

Last year the duos’ “Walking in the Air with Elephants”, a remix of “The Snowman” and “Walking with Elephants” by Ten Walls, got 12k views on YouTube.

The year before, Mayfield’s “Mercy Bells” a remix of Jingle Bells and Boddika’s “Mercy VIP“, hit over 21k, narrowly missing out on popular charts.

Eddy thinks this year’s tune is bigger than their last one

Eddy told The Tab: “Christmas isn’t the same without a solid banger.

“It’s hard to tell if it will go bigger than ‘Walking in the Air with Elephants’, but personally I think this one is better than last year’s tune.”

George told us it wasn’t easy: “After ‘Mercy Bells’ and ‘Walking in the Air with Elephants’, the pressure was on to deliver this year.

“We were struggling for inspiration, thinking maybe there were no more Christmas classics suiting of a club rework.

“But then something magical happened and it all fell into place. Looks like turkey’s back on the menu boys.”

It’s not just Eats Everything going mad for the song, Newcastle grad Bella Eckert said: “It’s so good. After two consecutive years the expectation is high, and they haven’t failed to deliver.

“It didn’t feel like Christmas until they released their track.”
