Throwback revamped as ‘BoomBox’ for new SU Saturday night

Olly ClinkSaturday nights at Newcastle SU will make a change with Throwback being overhauled by a new night named BoomBox.
Kicking off this Saturday, the new night promises House/Garage/RnB and Disco tunes, with DJ’s such as Oneman and Mistajam lined up to perform.
With Throwback falling out of favour over the last term, this will be a welcome change for many, and excitement seems to be building.
Second year medic Ellie said: “I liked Throwback, but it was getting a bit cheesy. BoomBox sounds pretty good, I’ll definitely check it out.”
