Studies: MEng Hons Chemical Engineering

Involved in: 

  • RAG Society President
  • Running a marathon in October in aid of the charity ‘Make-a-Wish’
  • Previously a member of Crossfit society and the boat club
  • Into his 5th year at Newcastle University

 

Manifesto pledges:

  • Improve Recap system
  • The SAGE faculty is being re-structured from 11 schools to 5. I want to make sure this doesn’t detract from the quality of teaching and make sure more problems don’t arise from this change.
  • Improve and speed up assignment return time and feedback
  • Campaign against government increasing tuition fees

Studies: MMaths Hons Maths & Stats

 

Involved in: 

  • Member of the Maths society General Committee for 2 years
  • Social Sec for Maths society
  • A member of freshers crew, and a RAG crew supervisor this year
  • Plays Intramural football for Jesmond Tutu F.C

Manifesto in 4 points:

• 24-hour smart card access to your school’s main study spaces.
• Provide more private and group study spaces across campus.
• Ensure that the university’s decision on entering the TEF is in the best interests of the students.
• Introduce a week off after January exams.
