Inspector Paul Gummer, Neighbourhood Policing Inspector for the City Centre, said that the operation is "now a fairly regular event in the night time economy in Nottingham and people will probably be used to seeing us out with the passive drugs dog."

The police have also noticed a change in the drugs the dogs are finding since the return of students to the city with Sgt. Whitt saying, "now the students are back we find some drugs more towards them including ketamine and MDMA."
