Sheffield’s alumni make high roller list

| UPDATED

A report published this month has put Sheffield in the Top 20 richest unis in the country in terms of it’s alumni.

Wealth-X, who measure the world’s highest rollers, ranked Sheffield 18th in their list for producing ultra-high net worth individuals (UHNWIs).

Who knew the inside of Firth Court looked this nice?

Sheffield has produced 58 graduates with a net worth of at least $30m, while Oxford topped the list with 401. The UK as a whole has over 2,000 UHNWIs.

The Steel City is a hotbed for sugar daddies, with 55 of those 58 being male.

Most students weren’t surprised to see Sheffield so high up in the rankings. Encdcliffe Fresher Olwen Seward told The Tab: “well nobody from Hallam is going to be making that sort of money.” Quite.
