Catfish and The Bottlemen to join Dizzee Rascal as second wave of Tramlines headliners is announced

Catfish and The Bottlemen have been announced as the second headliners for this years Tramlines festival.

BRIT nominated guitar band and Leadmill playlist staples will headline the main stage on the Sunday, following Dizzee Rascal’s appearance on the Friday.

The Crookes have also been announced to play Devonshire Green on the Saturday and Blessa will appear at the Queens Social Club on the Sunday.

People having a great time

Local hero Toddla T will be also returning to the festival to take over the O2 Academy, with Goldie, Field Music, Young Fathers, Hinds, and Dawn Penn also making appearances over the weekend.

Last year saw over 100,000 flock to the Steel City to see the likes of Basement Jaxx, Slaves, Martha Reeves and Buzzcocks.

Now in its eighth year, the festival will be taking place across various sites in the city from Friday 22nd July to Sunday 24th. Daytime tickets start at £23, with a full weekend pass just £42.
