Brighton and Sussex Varsity 2020 fixture schedule has been announced

Rosie BettisIt's that time of the term again where Brighton and Sussex go head to head in their annual Varsity series. After its triumphant return last year and Sussex becoming the overall winners of the Varsity Series.
This comes after both Universities voted in favour of reinstating the fixtures, after cancelling the entire event after the violence which broke out in the Mens Rugby fixture in 2017, which made national news.
Becky Doran, Activities Officer for the University says "Varsity is back for another 3 weeks series with more sports than in 2019! The event will be hosted across both Sussex & Brighton campuses, finishing on the 25th of March. Im really excited to see our students compete again & hopefully students will come support Sussex! Tickets are on sale to Sussex students on the 9th of March at 10am".
"I started at Sussex in 2015 and we have won every year I've been here so let's hope we can continue the winning streak..upthesuss!".
General tickets will go on sale on 9th March at 10am and will be specifically for University of Sussex students only. 'Family tickets' will be available on 2nd March at 10am and will be specifically for squad members of sports varsity teams. The name registered to the tickets must match the photo ID required on the door of the fixture.
