Yet, as much as Jailbreak is about getting as far away as possible, there are many ways to go about it…
Team 120, Nathan and Clare, win the distinction of getting the furthest of any team that didn’t fly, hitchhiking an impressive 1027 miles from Cambridge all the way to Naples.
Roger Clarke, a Sidney student and member of the Jailbreak central committee, had this to say: ‘This year’s Jailbreak has been the most successful. Feedback from participants has been great. We’ve heard stories of people being stopped by police dressed as cows, of a teams hitching with an ambulance and of pairs having the time of their lives in Amsterdam. We’re still collecting money, but are expecting to smash our target of 30k for charity and confirm the event as the biggest Jailbreak in the UK!’
