Fitz Winter Ball Headliners Announced

The headliners for this year’s Fitz Winter Ball, taking place on 29^th November, have been announced. Cambridge favourites Truly Medley Deeply and Denim have both been confirmed and more acts will be announced in due course.

Tickets start at £78, rising to £84 at the end of the week. Dining tickets sold out almost immediately but normal tickets are still available.

Whilst being substantially cheaper than a May Ball, tickets are more expensive than last year’s £68 ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’ event.

According to the Ball’s official website and in line with this year’s Narnia theme, guests will be offered warm Pimms as they make their way in, followed by personalised ‘lion’ ‘witch’ and ‘wardrobe’ cocktails. Turkish delight and ‘decadent chocolate fountains, freshly made doughnuts and all the sweet foods one could imagine in a child’s paradise,’ will be some of the food on offer under a non-dining ticket.

Simon Johnson, President of the Ball committee told The Tab: “We promise a wonderful evening with some stunning entertainment. Guests will have a truly fabulous time; you are never going to be bored”.

The Ball will sponsor the charity Campus Children’s Holidays, a Cambridge student run organisation that gives children from Liverpool with difficult home lives activity-filled breaks to provide their families respite. Guests will have the option of donating £1 to the charity when they purchase their tickets.
