Maverick Sabre to Headline Jesus May Ball

Jesus May Ball 2013 will host soul singer Maverick Sabre, as Radio DJ MistaJam headlines the DJ set.

Maverick Sabre will be the headline act at Jesus May Ball this year, The Tab can exclusively reveal.

The 22 year old Anglo-Irish musician is known for his genre-crossing style which has been labelled as both folk and R&B.

Currently working on his second album, Maverick’s powerful yet gritty vocals are particularly famous for hits ‘I Need’ and ‘Let Me Go’, the latter reaching number 16 in the UK singles chart.

Joining Maverick will be Radio DJ MistaJam, who will be headlining the DJ Stage at Jesus this June.

MistaJam has also found Jesus

Claire Small, Jesus May Ball Ents Officer, told The Tab, “I’m really excited about the diversity we’re bringing to the ball this year.

Dreamcatcher will no doubt continue Jesus’ streak of being one of the most unforgettable balls of May Week.”

Mollie Wintle, Tab Features Editor, was notably less enthused by the news, noting: “as long as I don’t have to listen to Maverick sober, I think I’ll be ok.”
