What’s On(line): Week 3
It’s week 3 and we’re back with some dancing, theatre and kahoot!
Enjoy some monolaughs with ADC online
This Saturday the ADC Online is putting on a new Stand Up show delivering some quirky monologues and good humour. If you fancy trying to put the struggles of quarantine out of your mind or just chilling out for an hour, this is bound to be a great way to unwind.

Take part in the Great Girtonian Kahoot
(Who doesn’t want to listen to this absolute tune for 10 hours? Photo – Erin Hudson)
Coming from far far away the Girton JCR brings you a great quiz night. (Sorry Girtonians, I had to make a distance joke. As a Homertonian, I know the struggle). Re-live the glory days of high school in this pub style quiz. This time the theme is “The World”. So if you fancy yourself as the next quiz genius, be sure to not miss this one.
Quiz takes place May 9th at 8pm. For details see the facebook page.
Jitterbug to some tunes
In a bit of a disco mood? Missing the clubs? Not to worry, the next item on my list will allow the sesh to live on in your living room. This event will bring you a DJ set full of alternative 80s Jams. So if that is you thing, tune in and wake yourself up before you go go to bed. (I’m so sorry).
Hosted by the Blue Moon Cambridge on Friday the 8th at 8pm. See the event page for details about how to join.
Listen to an environment talk
The newly established Wolfson Green Society will be hosting an environmental talk. The speaker will be Conor Jameson, who will discuss W.H. Hudson and the pioneers of conservation.
Talk will take place on Thursday 14th. Zoom link is on the Facebook event page.
Enjoy some covers
And finally, if you want to hear some live music, a Cambridge based band Camisayo will be livestreaming some covers. Perfect for people missing the live music nights.
Stream will take place on Friday 8th at 8pm. Join via the facebook page.
