Vice Chancellor Sells Exeter to India

Vice Chancellor is off to top up his tan in a three day trip to India with David Cameron.

Not only will Professor Sir Steve Smith be bronzing his brow, but he will also use the opportunity of a trip to India with the Prime Minister to welcome the country’s best students and advertise 14 scholarships for Exeter’s International Summer School, worth a whopping £32k.

Exeter is one of just six UK universities chosen to travel with the PM as part of a trade mission. The University of Exeter hosts hundreds of Indian students every year.

Professor Smith said: “India is an incredibly important partner for both the University and the city of Exeter. Our presence in Bangalore demonstrates our commitment to our students, our alumni and our partners.”
