Exeter transformed into a hub of expertise as University partners up with Met Office to
develop collaborative ideas worth more than £30 million.

Four professors of the University of Exeter have been employed to develop initiatives which have already gained funding worth over £12 million.

The scientists will work together to strengthen weather and climate prediction models
whilst researching a range of key environmental science challenges across the globe.

The vital role of these scientists in the creation of the world’s most comprehensive report
on climate change is recognised and supported by such funders as the Natural Environment Research Council and the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council amongst many others.
