Fashion in the Forum: Week Four
This week’s best dressed
Fashion in the forum is back and there are lots of well-dressed new faces on campus this year.
We'll be here weekly to document Exeter's best looks.
We're well into Autumn now, tackling the difficulties of transitional wardrobes, but our nine stylish students of the week have executed this with poise.
Maria, Fourth Year, French and Italian
Kooky fourth year Maria is versing us in how to layer in the colder months.
Her Monki jacket is paired with white cords from Topshop. She styled this with some chunky steel-toed workman boots she picked up in one of Exeter’s charity shops.
Saffie, First Year, Anthropology and Spanish
This fashionable fresher shows us how to wear the boot of the season, the Doc Marten platform Chelsea boot.
She softened her look with white flare jeans and a charitable tee from Lazy oafs.
Toby, Fourth Year, Business and Economics
Rugby fan Toby wears his vintage Ireland jersey with a pair of Levi's black jeans. He was pleased to tell me that his Adidas trainers were just £30 from a local outlet – what a bargain!
Ale, Fourth Year, Management with Marketing
Ale looked toasty in her striking red jumper from H&M. She kept her look casual with some leather leggings and white Air Force Ones.
Julien and Laura, Second Year, Maths and Physics
This chic French duo kept it neutral with a palette of navy, black and camel. Julien’s puffa is from North Face and Laura’s cosy jumper is from Topshop.
Georgie, First Year, Geography
Georgie’s rosy jeans are from ASOS. She’s made her look day-time friendly by pairing them with a black tee, cardie and some Old Skool Vans.
Sarah, Fourth Year, Anthropology
I spotted Sarah from afar in her vibrant red, faux fur, leopard print jacket, which she picked up from the kid’s section of George at Asda. Talk about supermarket chic!
Irache, Second Year, Sociology and Criminology
Irache radiated cool with her thrifted leather jacket and Zara blouse. We particularly love her pink Exeter keep-cup – stylish and environmentally-friendly.
