Fashion in the Forum: Week Nine
‘Tis the season for coats!
Week nine means it’s the beginning of deadline season, so campus is packed full of stressed faces.
Shout out to our six fashion forward folk of the week for continuing to serve on trend looks in the gloom of November.
Christie, Second Year, Business and Marketing
Kicking off this week we have Christie, who shows us how to wear skirts when it's absolutely freezing. Her outfit looked chic and cosy in its neutral tones.
But to look as glamorous as Christie you’ll have to pick up her fabulous Gucci trainers that tied her outfit together!
Liza, Third Year, Art History and Visual Culture
Liza proves that mustard can be worn and looks its best when an entire outfit is coordinated around it. We love her commitment to a bold palette. Who knew art historians knew something about colour?
Izzy, Third Year, History and International Relations
Izzy is our second fashionista to brave a skirt in the cold, but did so in style, dressing it down with white Reebok trainers and a retro cropped sweater.
Her fabulous canvas booby bag can be picked up from Accessorize, with all profits going to Coppafeel.
Katherine, Third Year, Art History and Visual Culture
Katherine could be spotted from a mile a way in her fabulous, Mongolian fur trimmed coat. Worry not veggies and vegans it’s vintage, making Katherine’s look suave and sustainable.
Tori, Second Year, Engineering
Speaking of sustainable, second year Tori assured me that her entire look was second hand!
Her docs were from eBay, also making them more affordable, and the rest of her items were from charity shops across Exeter and Exmouth.
Luc, Third Year, PPE
Our only boy of the week Luc exemplifies the art of layering. His pastel, lemon shirt stood out as he swaggered out of the library.
He made a deliberate effort to flex his Prada jacket which he got second hand.
