Leicester officially better than Liverpool and Cardiff in new uni rankings

Not bad

Leicester came 32nd in the Complete University Guide rankings.

We dropped eight places from last year, but that still puts us above Liverpool, Cardiff and Queen’s Belfast.

Elsewhere, Nottingham rose to 21st and Loughborough climbed to 7th place. One of the biggest casualties was Bristol, who dropped by nine spots.

De Montfort’s position didn’t change and they’re still 54th.

The annual rankings are based on a criteria including student satisfaction, entry standards and research quality.

Other factors are student facilities, good honour degrees achieved and graduate prospects.
