Liverpool prepares to go all Great Gatsby as Speakeasy returns this weekend
Catherine ReidWith less than 100 tickets left to sell and only three days until the event, Speakeasy looks set to have another swinging night in Liverpool.
The hugely popular electro swing inspired night returns to the Kazimier this Saturday, inviting Liverpool’s finest to embrace the 20’s and get themselves all Downton Abbey-fied.
Mersey Swing offered pre-event dance classes especially, although these were rapidly booked up. Too bad if you’ve got two left feet.
Smerins Anti-Social Club are making the voyage to Liverpool, accompanied by the spectacular vocalist Nuala Honan.
All night long they’ll be bringing you everything from old-time swing and jazz to ska and rock.
There’ll also be entertainment from Kaptin is Dead, The Chicken Brothers, London based cabaret performer Dott Cotton and many more.
Doors open 9pm on Saturday, October 12 and tickets are selling out fast!
