Coming thick and fast in the November schedule is DJ Fresh. This is his first appearance in Liverpool since his NYE performance a couple of years ago and if that was anything by then this will not be one to miss. £16 for a ticket mind, so you might have to break the bank for this one.
Polka. 9th Nov
After a few arguably mediocre events since September, Polka will be aiming to impress here. Having booked rising house DJs Voyeur and Jacques, Polka will be hoping to pack out Kitchen Street for this £5 event.
Chibuku 16th Nov
Belter of a line-up this. Dusky, Klangkarussell, Ben Pearce and Cyril Hahn to name a few makes this the highlight for November. £20 for this event might seem a little steep but I can assure you with the talent on display, it will be worth every penny.
GetDown Presents Jaymo & Andy George 16th Nov
If you don’t fancy / can’t afford Chibuku, GetDown are holding a house event at the slightly cosier venue of the Shipping Forecast. With Jaymo and Andy George manning the decks and only £8 for a ticket – this is definitely an option for the more frugal party goers.
AbandonSilence 21st Nov
And the house music just keeps on coming. Bicep takes to the stage for a 3 hour set as AbandonSilence returns to the EVAC. We’ve been told Andrew Hill and Co. have a few tricks up their sleeve for this event so expect big things. At only £8 it’s a steal.
LDMS Residents & Friends 22nd Nov
LDMS are back for the first time since their opening event at the start of October. This time they return to the Shipping Forecast with performances from residents and friends. Bargain of the month this one with tickets at a measly £1. Cheap as chips.
Evol Presents Gold Panda 23rd Nov
Electonica artist Gold Panda will be playing a rare live performance for this special event with support from Brolin, Ghostchants and DJ Mr Paul. £16 for ticket, not too shabby.
Idris Elba DJ Set 29th Nov
Idris Elba? Isn’t he that actor from Luther? Well, it is little known that he’s also a hip hop and soul musician and DJ. Fancy that. The Golden Globe winner will be taking to the Shipping Forecast for this one off special performance with support from a few other special guests. Tickets are like gold dust with only 50 on public sale. Good luck getting your hands on one of these.
