This weeks top ten fashionistas is back

In a week duller than Andy Murray (officially duller than a wet weekend in Worthing), we found some students guaranteed to brighten up your day.

Grace, Geography, second year

Grace layers to perfection with her cream roll neck top under a black corduroy pinafore dress, teamed with a black zip-up jacket. And, hello! This cute yellow hooded anorak is everything – the perfect contrast to her monochrome ensemble.

Yamuna, Engineering, third year

Whether it’s a sleek workwear look or a streamlined luxe vibe, the tailored look is BIG news this season. It’s smart, chic and oh so wearable, but you only need to look at Yamuna to see that. She wears her high-waisted tailored trews with a black coat with gold button detail and tartan lace-up brogues, but keeps it feminine with a slick of red lippy.

Mundia, Law and Business, second year

Fix up look sharp. Probably the smartest looking person you will ever see in the SJ. Mundia wears black suit trousers with a contrasting blue blazer, a crisp white shirt and tie, and finishes it off with oversized specs and snood. With this look he means business.

Charlie, Music, fresher

Charlie keeps to grungy tones with her grey polo shirt, black button down skirt and khaki parka with a fur-trimmed hood. She finishes the look with classic black suede over-the-knee boots.

Jonti, Physics, fourth year

Jonti wears black skinnies, a plain tee, suede lace-up shoes and a checked button-down coat. Simple but stylish.

Roo, Comms and Media, second year

Wearing a stone ribbed roll-neck and rust pocket-detail shirt tucked into wide leg black trousers, Roo’s look is probably not something everyone would be able to pull off, but she has the effortless sense of cool that we could only dream of. Her hat is vintage, passed down from her mother – style is clearly in the genes!

Oba, Sociology and Criminology, third year

Looking at this gorgeous suede jacket with faux-fur collar, Oba clearly knows how to spot a good vintage find. The third year running for guild student officer balances a smart shirt with rolled up skinnies and snapback for a laidback look.

Olivia-Rose, Music, second year

Denim button-down skirts are here to stay this season! We loved Olivia-Rose’s cosy fur stole and black lace-up peep toe boots.

Jack, Law with Business, second year

Everybody is still going crazy for military and camo jackets! Jack pairs his with black skinnies, a black hoody and contrasting purple tee.

Emmanuel, Mechanical Engineering, fresher

For us, Emmanuel’s stand-out pieces were his distressed jeans and Ralphie cap.
