Liverpool Domino’s driver offers drugs on delivery

Last Friday at around 9:40pm, a pizza ordered from the London Road branch was delivered to Seymour Street with a blue business card offering “weed, MDMA, ket, raw coke & much more.” The card, signed “Smoney”, listed two mobile numbers and ended “get on me drop offs all night.”

The ECHO confirm this has happened on multiple occasions since November 2016.

Domino’s stores are franchised, with drivers employed by each store rather than the parent company. There is no suggestion that the city centre store had any knowledge of this.

While no one from the store has commented, Nina Arnott, a spokesperson for Domino’s said: “We have suspended the individual in question whilst we investigate this issue in conjunction with Merseyside Police.

“Police enquiries into the incident and any others that may be linked are currently ongoing.”

Merseyside Police have said: “Merseyside Police is investigating an incident of suspicious circumstances at an address in Liverpool City Centre on Friday, 10 February.

“At around 9.40pm, a report was received of a pizza delivery driver attending at a premises in Seymour Street. Food was delivered and a note was allegedly left offering drugs for sale, including phone numbers.”

Enquiries into this incident and others that are potentially linked are ongoing. They ask that anyone else who has received a similar card get in touch by calling 101.
