Liverpool restaurant weirdly promotes Steak and Blowjob Day

Sapporo Teppanyaki on Duke Street is offering a promotional meal for “Steak and BJ day to all men”, in partnership with the Steak and BJ Day website.

The Japanese restaurant, which also has stores in Manchester and Glasgow, is well known for promoting and hosting events for various holidays and events including Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day.

However, this month Sapporo Teppanyaki is promoting itself through Steak and Blowjob Day, offering a “free BJ (beer jug)” with any steak on the 14th March. Steak and Blowjob Day is also a charity attempting to fight breast cancer.

The restaurant has promoted the event through Instagram and Facebook.

When comments were left on their Instagram post arguing the event was sexist, Sapporo Teppanyaki deleted the comments and messaged the user directly on Instagram, claiming that they have been approached by Official Steak and Blowjob Day to raise awareness to fight breast cancer, although there was no mention of this on the original Facebook or Instagram posts.

Sapporo Teppanyaki said: “We love to welcome all our customers into Sapporo and agreed to support the cause with the best of intentions. We certainly would not lend our support to a campaign if we felt it would be viewed as sexist or degrading.”

“The charity is close to the directors heart so we donate and have raised money for the charity in the past, hosting cancer charity events in Il forno (our sister brand) every year.

“Whilst the campaign is rather provocative, it does get the attention of our audience and it’s effective in raising the profile of the cause.”

The Official Steak and Blowjob Day website includes a Blow Job Day countdown and video tutorials offering ‘tongue-twisting tips’ and a guide on how to give ‘the perfect head’ in 13 steps.

The guide includes advice such as: “Swallowing is important. It shows a kind of love and acceptance that has big payoffs during pussyeating time, morning sex, and menstruation. The easiest way is to be upright and kneeling between his legs because gravity cuts down on the gag factor and if it’s far enough in the back of your mouth, it slides down like a slutty oyster.
