Campus style: April vibes

Two months ’till summer

With a glimpse of the spring sun appearing in Manchester we are starting to whip out our spring wardrobes. Here are some of the best looks we have spotted around campus.

Millie Dearie. 1st Year. French and Spanish.

With a mixture of bright colours, classic tailoring and ripped white jeans this colour coordinated outfit is great for the start of Spring

Millie’s Style: I would describe my style as eclectic and fun, I love playing with colours and cuts, I idolise Olivia Palermo!

April Vibes: I love the 70’s inspired suede mini skirts, if I’m ever brave enough to try that!

James Joyce. MA Sociology.

Well prepared for the hottest of Manchester weather with these quirky Aztec print shorts.

James’ Style: James has an alternative style with a good mixture of vintage and new items.

April Vibes: I like getting the shorts in early , everyday is a holiday.

Petteri Seppala. 1st Year. Law. ft Dave.

Keeping casual and cool in these cargo shorts for spring, Dave has kept it simple with his all black ensemble.

Petteri’s Style: I would describe myself as a casual hipster

April Vibes: Crew jumpers and trusty cargo shorts that can be worn with  almost anything.

Rebecca Howard. 3rd Year. Language Literacy and Communication.

Rebecca has pulled off the risky double denim trend perfectly by mixing a oversized shirt with plain black skinny ankle grazers.

Rebeccas Style: Very casual, I love my shirts, denim and trainers

April vibes: Double denim and slip on vans

William Huck. 3rd Year. Chemical Engineering.

Wearing a pair of navy chinos from his large collection William mixes smart with casual to create his chilled look.

William’s Style: My style is relaxed and comfy, I like keeping it chilled with        hoodies and plain t-shirts.

April Vibes: CHINOS, CHINOS, CHINOS, can’t get enough of them!

Anne Rebekka Eikland. 2nd Year. Engineering.

Anne monochromes pairing her white A-line dress and cropped black biker jacket ready for Spring.

Anne’s Style: I just like feeling girly so I wear a dress out as often as I can.

April Vibes: A dress with fresh colours, such as pastels. I partially like wearing straw hats when the sun is out.

Daiki Miyamoto. 1st Year. Global Urban Development and Planning.

Daiki has gone relaxed but keeps things classic with his quilted Barbour

jacket.

Daiki’s Style: Understated items but I like to stick to favourite brands such as All Saints

April Vibes: Jersey t-shirts, free runs and light jackets

Ingrid Saelemyr. 2nd Year. Chemical Engineering.

Comfy and casual with her black leggings and converse hight tops yet still on trend with a popular light blue oversized denim jacket.

Ingrids’ Style: What ever takes my fancy at the particular moment in time. But     its essential that what I wear is comfy.

April Vibes: I like to wear more floral patterns, I prefer to pair shirts or T-shirts with shorts as I don’t usually wear many dresses.
