There have been 23 UFO sightings in the past year in Manchester

The Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) have logged 23 incidents in and around Greater Manchester since January 2015.

The MUFON, the oldest and largest UFO phenomenon investigative body, have confirmed these sightings range from a witness viewing five metallic objects flying in a triangular formation to a large square object flying over another witness’ roof.

Some may argue that the MUFON logs do not provide definitive proof of extra-terrestrial life, however conclusive footage appears to indicate that some kind of unusual activity has been taking place in the Greater Manchester area.

The first exposed footage was a large flying craft which reportedly flew above Manchester in early 2015.

A series of 23 incidents have since followed, with the most recent being logged in February 2016.

Do these count?

Whilst some may argue that the idea of alien life forms is nonsense, others suggest that the proof is in the video footage.

Ellie, a University of Manchester student said: “I like to believe that alien life forms do exist, it seems ridiculous to think we’re the only planet with life on it.”

In contrast another student Hannah said :“There is no way that any of this is real, it is so easy to edit videos to make it seem like there’s a blurry spaceship in the distance.”
