Starting from today Virgin East Coast's "Beat Black Friday" has begun, where you can buy half price tickets to London King's Cross from Newcastle. Where a normal single ticket costs £36, Virgin has released 250,000 tickets for a mere £18. This is a bargain that we're interested in.
For those of us students who are used to the luxurious life having come straight outta Jesmond, there are 50,000 first class single tickets on offer for only £33.50. A single trip to Edinburgh, well you're looking at under a tenner.
The tickets can be used between January 6th and March 2nd, 2018. Yes please, we'll take a seat.
