UEA Mourns Popular Big Issue Seller
Chris Hart, a popular campus Big Issue seller for ten years, has died.

Chris died in hospital in December having sold the Big Issue at UEA from 2001 until 2011.
In a statement, the University described Chris as “a quiet man with a good sense of humour who befriended many staff and students”.
UEA’s Science and Research librarian, Rachel Henderson, tweeted last night: “Sad today… see that UEA Big Issue seller Chris died just before xmas. Always seemed a v gentle person.”
A collection in aid of the Big Issue, in Chris’s memory, is currently being held in the Chaplaincy by UEA’s Catholic Lay Chaplain, Marion Houssart.
UEA is yet to confirm the date of a mass that will be held in remembrance of Chris.
