Is this the best club booking ever: Wealdstone Raider ready to party
The rumours are true
If you thought the old Indian man was good, prepare yourself – the Wealdstone Raider is hitting the Norwich club scene.
Gordon Hill, who found fame after a video of him watching a football match went viral, has been booked to appear at Lost on Wednesday.
In what’s set to be his first ever club appearance, the Raider will be hosting UEA’s biggest sports night.
And the booking’s already created a buzz among students.
Second year student Tommy Weeks said: “I think it’s completely random that he’s been booked, but probably my favourite host this year – it’s good to break the norm of just booking MIC or TOWIE stars all the time!
“I think people will mainly go there to have a good laugh rather than just to ‘fangirl’ over the attractive celebrities.”
Second year Tom Clewlow said: “It was a big surprise to see him booked in at Lost.
“I’ve been to the occasional Wednesday but wasn’t planning to this week until I saw the Wealdstone Raider was going to be there. It will be a bit strange to see him in a club as it’s usually young reality TV stars.
“I’ll definitely be going to see if I can get some.”
Organisers of the night told The Tab: “We are very happy to have tracked him down for what will no doubt be one of the biggest Wednesdays this year!
“It’s a different booking that’s for sure but we didn’t expect him to be as popular as he is!
“Made In Chelsea and TOWIE bookings are getting old and we know this so it’s great to do something slightly different.”
We can’t wait.
