Third year drunkenly buys tickets to go and see Sean Paul in Milan
She says she’ll probably fly out anyway, for the banter
Bobbie EdsorWhilst on a night out celebrating her friend’s birthday, third year Claudia drunkenly decided to splash £130 on a pair of tickets to go and see Sean Paul live. Declaring herself a massive fan of the ‘Rockabye’ star, she said it was “sort of a life dream, I guess”.
The NUA student bought the tickets on her phone whilst sat in Vodka Revs, which is in itself legendary enough. “I don’t really know why I thought it was a good idea [to buy them],” she told us, ” I think I must have just been feeling spontaneous and the latest student loan instalment was making me feel more balling than I actually am.”
But that wasn’t the end of the little surprises that Claudia had lined up for herself.
“I originally thought I bought the tickets for Copenhagen and nearly got around to booking flights when the tickets finally arrived and I was surprised by myself yet again when I saw they were for Milan.”
When she found out that they were for Milan, Claudia tried to sell the tickets on the LCR Ticket Exchange in an attempt to do some “damage control”. However her post was met with a surprising lack of customer interest, “only banter”.
When asked what she was planning on doing with the tickets, she said she’ll “probably end up going”.
Although Claudia hasn’t quite warmed to the idea of flying out for the gig just yet, we’re hoping Sean can provide the right temperature to shelter her from the storm of her poor drunken decision making when she goes to see him in April.
