New league table has UEA in the top 20 UK universities

UEA’s doing bits

The Guardian's 2019 university league table has been released and like last year it's pretty good news for UEA, which has again been ranked 18th out of 120 UK universities.

The table rates universities on things such as student satisfaction with their course, teaching received and feedback; with UEA satisfaction in these areas recorded as 90 per cent, 89 per cent and 74 per cent respectively.

This puts UEA higher than Oxford for student satisfaction with their course and higher than Cambridge for both course and feedback satisfaction.

UEA also has one of the greenest campuses in the country.

As well as the percentage of those in a graduate job or further study six months after graduating is listed as 79 per cent of UEA graduates. Overall UEA scored a somewhat impressive 75.7 out of 100.

In comparison UEA's rival, Essex, came 31st overall. Although Essex did score higher in money spent per student and in the percentage of students going into a graduate job or further study within six months of graduating.
