University Challenge is looking for UEA contestants, do you have what it takes?

Georgie TaylorUEA Students' Union announced last week that applications are now open to apply for the BBC hit show University Challenge in their 2019 series.
It is the well-loved but also highly prestigious inter-university competition and this year could be you that helps UEA bring home the title. The man, the myth, the legend Jeremy Paxman will also be returning to the series so if that isn't motivation to apply for the show, then what is?
The applications process has opened with students having to get through two trials before you meet Mr Paxman but the applications close at midnight on Friday 19th October, so you better hurry!
Based on your application form, you'll be invited to two rounds of tryouts to see what you're made of. The first round being a written test and the second is a live show simulation to prepare you for the real thing.
