Police raided a property in Bury Street this morning

A UEA student who watched the raid unfold told The Norwich Tab:

"There were two squad cars and a forensic van parked in the street , and we were talking about it when we saw three coppers carry out a load of weed from a house on the corner. So much of it.

"Pretty crazy as we never noticed any dealing on that street."

The Norwich Tab contacted Norfolk Police for more information, who gave the following statement:

"Officers attended an address in Bury Street around 5pm on Friday 18 January. A number of cannabis plants were found within the address and were seized along with mobile phones. No arrests have been made and enquiries continue."
