Celebrating all that ‘Nick Did Good’: Nick Sadler’s Memorial
Friends have arranged a celebration of his life at the UEA lake on Thursday evening
After the news that the body of UEA Film and Television student Nick Sadler was recovered by a police diving team in the lake on Tuesday 19th February after 11 days missing, friends have organised a memorial to take place this Thursday from 16.30-18.00.

Tributes have made clear how well-loved Nick was by his close-knit group of friends however, they have opened up the memorial service to anyone who wishes to celebrate his life. Close friend, Michael Howard, has said: "This memorial is completely open to everyone who would like to attend and pay their respects."

Amelia Trew, a close friend, has said, "When [Nick] started laughing literally everyone would laugh" so this memorial will be an opportunity to celebrate who he was and reflect on friends' happy memories of him. His friends are encouraging people to, "bring drinks and flowers as we remember this truly wonderful human being."

Friends are overwhelmed by the support they have received during this difficult time and have stated that they would like to take the opportunity to "thank those who supported and helped in the search for Nick."
The memorial will include some speeches and laying down of flowers however, the Facebook event page has said that more information about it will be put out on Thursday morning.
